Outsourcing payroll became a key focus for TKM TTT as part of their strategic plans to concentrate on core business operations.
The partnership between TKM TTT and Silta began in August 2020, when it was decided that Silta would fully take over payroll management by January 2021.
Throughout the fall, project teams from both TKM TTT and Silta worked closely to ensure a smooth transition.
– "During the fall, we gained deep insights into payroll processes, and the outsourcing brought valuable new learnings. It allowed us to review the entire payroll process and identify key areas for improvement," explains Suvi Stolt, HR Manager at TKM TTT.

Payroll Streamlined Through Outsourcing
– "Even our internal payroll processes were streamlined during the transition. Seamless collaboration has resulted in high-quality payroll data production."
Although the actual payroll processing was outsourced to Silta, our internal payroll processes must still support the outsourced operations to ensure salaries are paid correctly and on time.
Stolt also praises Silta’s payroll system for its reporting capabilities. TKM TTT’s previous payroll system did not offer the same level of reporting functionality.
– "Based on our current experience, Silta’s tools have proven to be excellent. We can now analyze payroll data far more effectively than before and easily simulate scenarios of interest with fast and efficient tools."
– "When tools are smartly designed, you can quickly find the information you need, allowing you to focus on analysis rather than searching for data. This has been a very welcome improvement."
A special mention and thanks go to the collaboration between the two companies, which brings a smile to Stolt’s face.
– "At times, during the intense phases of the project, we almost forgot that we weren’t working for the same company. The shared determination to bring the project to a successful conclusion was always present."
